Trisha Correy-Pall, SBD

Hi, I’m Trisha! I’m married to a teacher and together we have our 2 children, and we’ve found a sense of community in Lacombe. I have a background in health care and enjoy serving others. I really enjoy hands on support. Education is something I have always pursued and I enjoy taking additional classes related to the birth and breastfeeding world when I can.

I began my Doula journey when I was pregnant with our first child. It was something I wanted for my own births. Soon after my son was born, I did my DONA training in 2013. Being at home with young children made me appreciate the supports available to me. I became involved with La Leche League Canada, which provides mother-to-mother breastfeeding support and became an accredited LLLC Leader in 2016. A sense of community, especially in the parenting world, was something I constantly sought out and I help others to connect with resources in Central Alberta. In 2015, I started the Lacombe Mom2Mom Event and it has been growing ever since.

In 2017,  I became a Certified Birth and Bereavement Doula through StillBirthday (SBD) and started taking doula clients. Recently I have upgraded my Red Deer Doula Association membership status from Associate to Active! I hope that I am able to support many more birth experiences in Central Alberta.

I am passionate about the birth and parenting world. I am passionate that you are cared for, and hope you feel safe no matter what way you birth. I have experience in hospital and home birth. I have been fortunate to experience working with a surrogate, singletons and twins, unmedicated and medicated births, premies, induction and spontaneous deliveries, Midwives and Physicians.

If you would like to connect with me for a free consultation, please see my information listed below!
Bachelor of Arts (BA), Health Care Aide (HCA), Practical Nurse Diploma, Massage Therapy Certification,  DONA Trained, La Leche League Leader, StillBirthday Certified (SBD)
