Hello, and warmest welcome! I am Amanda Fitzsimons, of Woodland Birth & Wellness! Loving mother of four wildlings, and partner to Jeff. I am a hippie at heart, gentle rebel, follower of the moon, counter of the stars and proud birth nerd!

I am a Birth Worker who enjoys wearing many hats. As a Certified Birthkeeper, my services encompass everything from Fertility Support, Labour & Birth Support, Postpartum, and Loss. I am also a Birth + Motherhood Photographer, Certified Peer Lactation Counselor, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Womb/Yoni Steam Facilitator, Reiki Level lll and a budding Herbalist!

My ability to provide Full Spectrum support from the very beginning of a Fertility journey, well into Postpartum, is in thanks to my love of continuing education; I always have a hearty thirst for knowledge! I pride myself on providing science based information, with women/birther centered focus, and a holistic approach to wellness.

I find that my clients are after a specific doula and birth guide. They want someone trustworthy to educate them and to help guide them towards a meaningful, healing and/or redemptive pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. however that looks for each one.
