Jenn Steil

Hello! My name is Jenn. I am a birth and bereavement doula that offers support to women and families birthing in all trimesters.

I have always had a passion for women, pregnancy, labor and birth. Serving and supporting others has always been a huge part of my heart, so being a doula, and using these gifts has been an honour.

I am a mama to 3 little ones here on earth, and 3 in heaven. Being a bereaved mother myself has opened a special place in my heart for those who have come before me, those who currently share my community and for those who are yet to come. I created Healing Hearts, which is not for profit, and is a huge part of my heart and volunteer work. Through Healing Hearts, I am able to support bereaved families with one on one support, care packages, art classes, and through an annual Wave of Light ceremony.

I am always working on personal growth. I love the concept of a mountain mover, as I love to seek, learn new things, and grow. In June, I served as a doula, in Honduras with other RDDA doulas, and I am currently trained through DONA, and working towards certification.

My hobbies consist of creating, volunteering, floor hockey, the outdoors, hiking, and photography. I am a lover of mountains, coffee and hug extraordinaire.
